Since he was eight-months-old, Alfie Dingley was diagnosed with an extremely rare form of epilepsy which left him suffering from constant seizures, which required a damaging amount of steroids to tackle it. But his mum Hannah Deacon says medicinal cannabis has changed Alfie’s life, reducing his seizures and allowing him to live his life as an energetic seven-year-old. Hannah is currently campaigning for medicinal cannabis to be prescribed, as many families are left in debt after being forced to use private healthcare.
